Hey all! I hope everyone had a great holiday!

I just finished axles, ball joints, alk, and front lca bushings and am in need of an alignment. Any recommendations? It would be great if they were familiar with the adjustable Whitleine ALK.

And, I know I've spoken to some folks about help with an uppipe install and it's about that time. If anyone is willing to lend a hand, I'll get the beer and food!

Thans everyone-

Robmat

Bump for alignment recommendations around Knoxville? Also...did you get the up pipe installed successfully?

EAG (European Auto Garage) probably has the best alignment setup in Knoxville. Ask for Paul to do your alignment, $89.......can't beat it.

Will they do it to my specs or to factory setup?

I had to bail on helping Rob that weekend (I tried to pack too much stuff in and ran out of time). I'm still open to help sometime soon!

You name it! I now have a down pipe to add to the mix, haha!

And on another note, I called EAG and was told they only do European cars....

Really? WTF... I was thinking about taking my STi there. Nvm.

Matlock did my alignment for $70. I don't know if they do custom work, but I use them to mount my tires.

Do you know whom you spoke to at EAG???? What type of work were you considering them doing?

I have my STI serviced there and they do great work! I have them do all of my wheel/tire and alignments as we'll as suspension and exhaust work and diff/transaxle fluid changes.I have never needed engine or trans work so that might be something they might not want to tackle.

You should talk with Andrew or Rich (owner).

Well, that narrows it down to 2. Based on that, I'm 90% confident on who it was.

Edit: Call and ask for Tara or Andrew. They'll get it done. :)

By the way I called the owner of EAG and mentioned that the response from the "front desk" was that they "do European cars". He said that they positioned their company focusing on European brands for several reasons, including customer dissatisfaction with the local BMW and Mercedes service depts. However they have several mechanics with Japanese dealership backgrounds as well as European cars. He said that they don't specialize in Asian brands but can do almost any work required except transmission, diff or engine rebuilding.

They have done all of my work (fluids servicing, exhaust, general maintenance, braking upgrades, etc) and they are the "only ones" I'll let do my tire/wheel mounting or alignments.

Not trying to push or promote them....its just that I've found them to be good, conscientious, reliable. knowledgeable and reasonably priced.....not so much with any of the dealer service departments!!!
