I'm looking for an affordable detailing service that knows what they're doing and isn't going to scratch up my car. I am mainly looking for a hand wax and and undercarriage cleaning soon but mainly someone to wash it regularly. I know it sounds lazy of me to not clean my own car but working 60+hours a week is a bitch. Last thing I want to do on my days off is work more lol

I can take care of all that if you want to set up a monthly or bi-monthly routine. Just shoot me a PM if you would like.

For every wash I use a pressure washer with a foam cannon for the pre-wash, a 2 bucket wash system with grit guards, a microfiber mitt, and a Chemical Guy's spray sealant.

This is the smile on my face when I get to foam a car:

What kind of cleaning schedule would be recomended? How often would you wax and polish?

I would have pm'ed the question but in the future maybe others will find it useful.

Depends on how many miles you put on the car, but I would try to wash it at least once a month. More frequently than that (twice a month) lessens the likelihood of swirl marks in the paint when you do wash it.

Waxing is another thing that depends on how you use the car. If it is exposed to the elements on a daily basis, then maybe wax it once a quarter. My car sits in a garage at home and at work, and I wax it in the spring and the fall. However, I use a spray sealant every time I wash.

Now, some folks are going to waltz in here and tell you they wash their car every weekend, etc. That's great for them, and they are likely doing it for their own enjoyment. In your case, however, it seems like washing the car is more of a necessity that you can't find time to do, in which case, weekly might be excessive.
