Agreed. They should stick to Hyundais.

Yeahhh... Personally, I think they should just sell cars and leave the service to those who actually know what they're doing... You know, like Mr Anderson

Lil Jon approves... YEAAAAHHHH!

Most of their salesmen either DGAF or are the typical "too slick for their own good" type.

First thing I thought of when I saw the "Recommened Shops" forum was, I wonder if I should make a Don't go to Grayson Thread! Glad someone already did. :D

Worst SUBARU DEALER EVER!!! Would sign anything trying to remove them as an Official Dealership.

I recently ran a CarFax on a Subaru here locally. On the service records, it shows it being serviced at Grayson Hyundai, NOT Grayson Subaru. Yeah, that explains a lot.

Talked to mr. Harper himself, he said that one of his regrets is not renewing the Subaru Dealer contract and losing it to Grayson. He openly said in hind sight was a bad decision.

Agreed 10000000% on Grayson.

Also, Harper's wasn't too much better. I first test drove a 2002 WRX at Harper's and quickly went out to Earl Duff and bought a 2003 WRX from Tim. Bought 4 cars from them since. Harper's wouldn't give me the time of day. I had to beg to test drive a car.

Just to play devil's advocate, their parts department is great. In fact, probably the best one I've been to. Ken is awesome and that other guy (can't remember his name) is coming around too. My only gripe is the checkout process. Like any dealer you have to stand around waiting for the cashier to pay for all of the stuff in your hands. And for whatever reason it seems like you have to sign a bunch of forms. Which is typical of any dealer.

Their parts are overpriced (a regional thing, Duff isn't much better), and those guys don't know that there's 2 drain plugs for the STI 6-speed. :marcus: With that said, they've been friendly and helpful when I've dealt with them.

I frequently order my parts from Annapolis Subaru and it comes out cheaper. Grayson is for I-need-it-yesterday parts.

That's good to know! I never bothered, as considering the 30 min drive, cheaper prices plus shipping were still a better deal.

Wheeler actually recommended to me Annapolis Subaru. If I don't have to have it right then and there, I will order it from Jackie and get a very good price on stuff. She also has a lot of crap in stock. Fun fact: she once called her boss a doucher when she was on the phone with me.

I usually buy my oil filters from Grayson since they're open on Saturdays. Ken has always been good when I stop in there.

There was a young kid in there at one point who didn't know his ass from his elbow, and I almost walked out, but Ken came back from wherever he was.

I've used these guys for several parts. Seem to have good prices and cheaper shipping costs... even though they're in Washington.

I must say I agree on them being very windy, I have wanted another subaru since I sold my o3 wrx wagon. I tried to buy from them a few times but just couldn't get together with them. I ended up getting my new one from a dealer outside of Boston named Quirk subaru while on vacation. Great dealership as far as dealing.
